I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A TORQUE CONVERTER SHUTTER IN THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM AFTER ONLY 46,000 MILES. IT WOULD COST $ 2945.00 TO REPAIR AND IT MAY TAKE 0NE OR TWO MONTHS TO RECIEVE A NEW PART. I PAID $967.00 DOWN AND WAITED 3 WEEKS FOR THE PART TO COME IN AND IT TOOK 7 DAYS FOR THEM TO REPAIR IT. WHEN I PICKED UP MY TRUCK AND PAID THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE I WAS TOLD THAT THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED ONLY TO FIND THAT THE NOISE STILL EXISTED WHILE DRIVING HOME. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED ROCK RIVER FORD BACK AND THE NEXT DAY WENT ON A TEST DRIVE WITH THE SUPERVISOR AND THE MECHANIC OF REPAIR DEPT. WE ALL WITNESSED THE EXISTENCE OF THE NOISE IMMEDIATELY AND THEY SAID IT WAS A DEFECTIVE REBUILT TORQUE CONVERTER THAT WAS SENT. THAT WAS ON APRIL 20 AND I AM PRESENTLY WAITING FOR A NEW PART TO COME IN AND THEY WILL CALL ME . I AM PRAYING THAT THE NEW PART SOLVES THE PROBLEM. I HAVE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY FOR A BAD REBUILT PART. HOPEFULLY I WILL BEABLE TO SEND A MORE PROMISING REVIEW ON THE 2ND TIME AROUND. ”
