2015 Ford Edge Redesign

Check Out the New Look and Feel of the 2015 Edge

How do you make an already bold and innovative crossover even better than before? You redesign it. The 2015 Ford Edge Redesign presents a complete transformation with agile handling, an inviting, modern interior, and tons more upgraded elements to make it stand out from the crowded crossover segment. Best of all, you can check out this redesign for yourself at Rock River Block today.

The exterior of the redesigned 2015 Ford Edge inspires confidence, and turn heads wherever it goes. You’ll notice the new design thanks to the dynamic grille, and fluid shapes and smooth lines that run the length of its body. It also boasts a sleek roof, an aerodynamic shape, and a commanding profile. To give it a wide and aggressive stance, the wheels have been designed to be positioned at the outer corners. To add to its dynamic look is the newly available panoramic Vista Roof, which features a large forward panel that tilts up or opens fully, plus a fixed rear skylight for an enhanced view of the world above.

The 2015 Edge gets a significant upgrade on the inside, with an upscale and well put-together interior. This five-seater exudes spaciousness with 39.2 cubic-ft. of cargo volume behind the second row, 73.4 cubic-ft. behind the front row, and a total of 113.9 total passenger volume. When you pair this with features like heated and cooled seats in the front, heated seats in the rear, a heated steering wheel, and soft touch materials throughout, you’ll be amazed at how easily your daily commute turns into a relaxing and comforting experience.

When driving the redesigned 2015 Ford Edge, you’ll notice it has a surprising punch, with a quick acceleration and swift throttle response, which is due to the turbocharged 245 horsepower, 2.0L engine. Also available is the 3.5L V6 engine that delivers 280 horsepower and 250 lbs.-ft. of torque. There’s also the seamless six-speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission with race-inspired, steering wheel-mounted paddles to provide an engaging driving experience. The superb handling is also due in part to the direct, responsive steering and tight body control for a remarkably smooth ride that soaks up even the harshest bumps on I-39.

Just in case you weren’t already impressed by the 2015 Ford Edge redesign, the technology advances are sure to catch your attention. Inside, the SYNC1 connectivity system lets you make hands-free calls, control your music with simple voice commands, and send and receive audible text messages with your compatible smartphone. Plus, there’s a variety of driver-assist technology2 to give you confidence on the road, like the Front 180-degree Camera to see around corners and down alleys while parking, Lane Keeping System to remain safely in your lane, Adaptive Cruise Control that slows when traffic around you slows, and the Blind Spot Information System with cross-traffic alert to safely change lanes.

1 SYNC® is an optional feature. Features/functionality vary by vehicle/model. Driving while distracted can result in loss of vehicle control. Only use SYNC systems/other devices, even with voice commands, when it is safe to do so. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones. Message and data rates may apply. Optional Navigation System map updates cannot be received via Wi-fi® and require a separate update.

2 Driver Assist Features (BLIS®, cross-traffic alert, collision warning, active park assist, adaptive cruise control, and rear view camera) are supplemental and do not replace the driver's attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.
